Confessions Bot Terms of Service

Welcome to the Confessions Bot! By using this bot, you agree to the following terms, as well as Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Please read carefully to ensure you’re abiding by the rules and enjoy a safe experience.​

1. Acceptance of Terms  

By accessing or using Confessions Bot ("the Bot"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Bot immediately.

2. Eligibility  

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Bot, in accordance with Discord’s Terms of Service. By using the Bot, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Use of the Bot  

You agree to use the Bot responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and Discord’s Community Guidelines. You agree not to:

- Submit confessions containing harassment, threats, hate speech, or explicit content.

- Abuse the anonymous nature of the Bot to spread harmful or false information.

- Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or disrupt the Bot’s functionality.

- Share personally identifiable information (PII) or confidential data.

4. Data and Privacy  

- Confessions submitted through the Bot are stored temporarily for processing but are not permanently logged on our servers, but may be logged permanently in the Discord server they are submitted in.

- We do not collect or share user data beyond what is necessary to operate the Bot.

- Moderators may review and remove reported confessions that violate these Terms.

5. Modifications to the Bot  

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the Bot at any time without prior notice. We are not responsible for any inconvenience or data loss resulting from such changes.

6. Termination  

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Bot if you violate these Terms. Users may also stop using the Bot at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability  

Confessions Bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct or indirect consequences arising from its use, including but not limited to emotional distress or conflicts arising from confessions.

8. Changes to Terms  

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Bot after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
